| would America be better if Ashcroft won in 2000? |
|
Lets say Ashcroft wins in 2000, regardless of the STL disputes of polling places. He wins, and isn't AG.
Isn't that good, because MO has two conservative senators now AND we're stuck with Johnny as AG.

| 1. As a Missourian, maybe. |

I'd still be pretty scared to find out who Bush's second choice would have been.

He would've really shown those lie-berals who's boss.
And he would have made a great husband for Annthrax Coulter.

The world of What Ifs.. What if Mel Carnahan had never died? Would trAshcroft be AG now? Certainly Jimmy Talent wouldnt' be a senator. If Bob Holden had lost to Talent for gov., Talent also wouldnt be there. I don't know if we could have done any worse as a country than for trAshcroft to have all that power.
If trAshcroft had won the Senate in 2000 I would probably have to move to Arkansas. Seriously, the man has been in Missouri politics too long and ruins everything he touches!
