I've beend debating a fairly open-minded friend of mine, and his point was that liberals would be up in arms if somebody they loved had an innacurate racist/inflammatory statement attributed to them like Reagan with "they that live in sin shall die in sin."

Has any miniseries/show had a Democrat or liberal uttering something that was inflammatory/racist and not actually said?
