Ronald Reagan Is A Piece of Human Garbage
The mythology of the "great communicator," "Ol' Dutch," "The Gipper," Etc. is a shameful fraud. Reagan financed brutal torture and genocide in Latin America, waged illegal wars, dramatically increased poverty at home through his economic policy geared towards further enriching the obscenely rich, and effectively shat upon women's and gays rights through his pandering to the disgusting Christian right. Shit, I could go on forever describing the crimes of this vile creature. I am amazed by the reverence for the contemptible Reagan--even among many so-called liberals. May he rot.

1. That's An Insult to Garbage Everywhere!!!
Garbage can be composted to make fertilizer to grow vegetables.

Reagan serves no useful purpose whatsoever.

2. Reagan was an actor
He played President very well, while Bush Sr. and Don Regan ran the country. Did Reagan ever say anything in public that wasn't written on his 3x5 cards? Did he ever deviate from the script? Like any competent but mediocre actor, probably not.

4. Reagan was an actor
There were some times he didn't use the 3x5 cards-when Nancy was there to whisper the answers to the media's questions in his ear!

3. Alert: The RNC has "demanded" DU lock this thread
Actually this whole controversy may be beneficial only in that it may encourage people to investigate what a space cadet Raygun really was. Even his own official biographer, Edmund Morris, concluded he could not tell the difference between reality and his imaginary mental script most of the time.

5. Pruneface is a racist.
Reagan's Secretary of Education Terrell Bell, in galley proofs of his autobiography, said he was shocked to hear mid-level Reagan White House staffers refer to Martin Luther King, Jr. as "Martin Lucifer Coon." These are the same type of people in the current White House.

6. yes. Reagan was and is a festering pile of dog excrement
I might even hate him more than Boosh. The night he was elected, I began having recurring nightmares about nuclear war. They lasted for about ten years. I'll never forget the fundy girl who sat next to me in my high school American Government class gloating "this means you're going to get drafted, and then you will have to die for Christians like me" the morning after the election.

There was NOTHING good about Reagan. NOTHING! As you can see, my hatred for this man is truly viceral.

7. I'd have to agree...
...Reagan was nothing more than the shit stain in my boxers. I don't understand how the republicans think he was the best president ever???? Someone should teach those right wingers a thing or two about economics.

12. Amen! Raygun started the destruction of democracy in this country.
The day he finally croaks should become a national day of thanksgiving.
