What states have same day voter registration?
Jesse Ventura is bring up some good points on his show tonight.
How would one go about getting their state to change if they don't have same day registration?

2. CA had a ballot initiatve to do it last year
but it lost badly. It sounds like a good idea, but I would be careful as it might have unintended consequences. I remember the Motor Voter Bill. People said it would benefit Democrats. And then I heard that Motor Voter actually helped Republicans.

3. Actually I think it would help 3rd parties
the most. But that is not the point, if we want people to vote, we need to make it easier.

4. I have no problem with "same day registration"
All I am saying is that it might have unintended consequences.

5. Minnesota
Ventura stated this on his show ...

He did a great job beating up on that stupid woman from the GOP who just danced and danced and never answered the question about whether republicans would support same day registration ...

He also made a great argument when he suggested that a significant event could occur just a week before the election that might encourage people to register to vote ... in states that have a 30-day before the election registration cut-off, those voters would be disenfranchised ...

Finally, he stated (no idea if it's true ...) that there is no evidence that shows a higher degree of fraudulent registrations in states that have same day registration than in states that don't ...

So we have 3 states so far - MN, WI, and Maine. Is that it?
