My letter to FAUX news:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,100831,00.html

CAUTION: extreme tongue-in-cheek ahead

Dear Fox,

Thank-you for your "fair and balanced" report regarding CBS's mini-series on President Reagan.

At first I had no intention of watching the mini-series, thinking it was just going to be a "puff-piece", but after your report - this mini-series is now at the top of my MUST SEE list.

I would also like to thank-you for sueing Al Franken, the news reports regarding his book and your law suit spurred me to buy a copy of his book.

Keep up the "fair and balanced" reporting as it clues me in as to what books to buy and movies to watch.

sincerely,

1. All you've done is made it possible for Faux to say
liberals watch their shows. I refuse to allow them any quarter.

3. I watch alot of news shows
even tune into some Reich-wing radio shows

this is the only way to know what the RW/neo-con spin is...and how best to counter it

you can't debate effectively if you only know one side

to quote public service announcement "...*** the more you know ***...."

5. If you've listened to them one time you know what they say everytime.
Breaking news I watch them all just to get different perspective but opinion shows? Crossfire only and I'm getting very tired of listening to bowtieboy and traitor novak. I love Paul and Carville but they don't bitchslap bowtiebow and I'm getting tired of screaming at the tv. Honestly, don't you say to yourself after watching those faux shows, "tell me something I don't know." And, "You freaking liar!"

6. "tell me something I don't know." And, "You freaking liar!"
yep, I do say that, except for "You freaking liar!"... I usually say
"You F**king asshole..."

but seriously, even though it's predictable "spin", you do pick up nuggets here and there which "highlight" the holes in RW arguments that can be used later on to shoot bigger holes in RW arguments

speaking of holes - there's a big hole in my finances sooo I have to get myself off to work... :sigh: see everyone later
