Watching Bush At The Kennedy Center Amidst A Virtual Sea Of Liberals
was one of the most bizarre things I have seen recently.

The entire thing was so incongruous. Tina Turner, Robert Redford, Alec Baldwin, Melissa Etheridge, Caroline Kennedy, Julie Harris, Paul Newman...

... and George Bush?

It was like watching Archie Bunker at a tribute to Beethoven.

I swear, the man must have felt 2 inches tall.

Imagine being surrounded by literally THOUSANDS of people who hate your fucking guts.

1. Plus, he nearly ejaculated publicly when Beyonce came out.
No, I am not kidding. It was really upsetting actually, watching the President of the United States jiggle and squirm and nod and jerk like an adolescent boy seeing porn for the first time.

5. Yes, and sitting next to a ballerina and other accomplished
artists. It just shows that he doesn't understand how to behave, and is immature in the extreme. Really just a horrible representation of our country. I'm not joking...it really made me feel ashamed.

I know people who come from a whole lot less who know how to behave a whole lot better.

4. and up until then, he had zero response to the music . . .
even when everyone else was clapping or swaying to the music, he just sat there motionless . . . very weird . . . and his response when Beyonce came out was moronic . . .

6. Not just moronic. A little bit lecherous. I was grossed out.
And I'm not what you would call a prude.

11. W has lived in a conservative privileged bubble all his life
He knows nothing else and is dumbfounded by new horizons.

Who knows, he may open his eyes and turn democrat. Stranger things have happened.

13. was this broadcast on c-span?
do you recall what they called it, or when it was broadcast? i avoid tuning in to bush every time i see him on television, or i keep tuned but in a "mute" mode. however, i would lvoe to see him
surrounded by a sea of liberals and squirming like a teenager who does not know how to act with my own eyes... he must've felt pretty much assured that no one was going to blow his head off if he was sitting at the kennedy center. the man is such a coward!
