Coulter Wants 'Torture As a Televised Spectator Sport'

NEW YORK Ann Coulter is at it again.

In her latest column, posted Wednesday at AnnCoulter.com, the Universal Press Syndicate writer has this "tongue-in-cheek" comment: "I think the government should be spying on all Arabs, engaging in torture as a televised spectator sport, dropping daisy cutters wantonly throughout the Middle East, and sending liberals to Guantanamo."

Coulter also "praised" Paul Krugman's New York Times/New York Times News Service column for "helping people house-train their puppies" twice a week.

The conservative Coulter used much of her column to support President Bush's directives to spy on Americans.

Is a reasonable level of high dudgeon whenever she vomits out one of these hateful screeds, just to be sure that the reasonable people hear about it and shake their heads.

Coulter endorsing your policies is a lot like the KKK endorsing your policies -- it may juice up your base, but the non-neanderthals shudder in distaste.

Ann's working for us, she just doesn't realize it.

She pathetically grabs at attention and the press still bites. I suspect Anne Coulter hasn't helped a single individual through her endeavors. Not even the president she covets so much. Her writing seems soulless, reflecting her desire to keep this lifestyle of paid commentaries and appearances going rather than actually doing anything to support her beliefs.

After she showed that she couldn't be successful as a lawyer she turned to her looks and her quick tongue. Like Dennis Miller, she chose a side and is capitalizing on it, but without any tangible contribution. That blind dedication to a single side or issue makes for a horrible lawyer and so her mediocrity has made us all have to endure her childish need for attention.
