Why doesn't Clinton & Carter Just Come Out and Speak Out
against this outlaw gang and their lying?

They continuously operate this way such as the Swift Boat Lying Veterans against Kerry.

We need to hit back hard on this. Imagine if these two presidents just came out and spoke up and said they felt even those this is very rare for two ex-presidents to do this, they feel it is necessary for the good of the country to set the record straight and debunk these lies.

1. The point isn't what past administrations did
THE POINT IS WHAT IS THE LAW?

The point isn't if Clinton did or did NOT have illegal taps, the point is DID BUSH VIOLATE THE LAW

6. the man who wrote the book on the NSA (former agent) said NO.
He says that the last pres to spy without court order was Nixon. He says that no way did Carter or Clinton and he was in the NSA at the time....

13. I agree, but it is a distraction
I believe that Nixon was the last president to spy without a court order, and I would hope that Carter and Clinton would come and correct the record ASAP, but my point is that we should focus on what the current administration did and is doing

3. If they did this, why didn't the Repukes nail them then?
If they knew and didn't do anything about it, is that not aiding and abetting?

I'm just making suppositions.

5. Carter usually is and I'm sure he will again
Clinton could go either way, depending on the day.

7. Presidents traditionally do not speak out against their successors
It's a tradition.

That having been said, let me introduce you to my good friend Google.

Google, if properly used, will locate some ten billion articles describing how both Clinton and Carter have zapped this administration several times in the last few weeks and months.

8. Carter has, repeatedly
It is unheard of for an ex-President to speak out against a current President. The fact that Carter has spoken out, repeatedly, is really extraordinary. Although you'd never know it by the way it's reported.

9. Yes, I've seen Carter on The Daily Show & Larry King Live clearly...
and adamantly stating that what the B* cabal is doing is absolutely wrong and is extremely bad for our country.

10. Carter yes, Clinton no....
Clinton as much as I like the man would draw too many unfortunate impeachment parallels and excuses for the Republicans to change the subject unless he's going to come out, do a total mea culpa and THEN say impeach Bush.

Carter is so far above reproach that they can't say anything about him so YES let him speak out but the GOP noise machine will do as much as they can to drown him out.

It would the most be interesting to hear from Gerald Ford, as the man who pardoned Nixon and a life long Republican.

If Jerry Ford said impeach Bush that would shut everybody up and force the issue.

Alternately, but it will never happen, if George the First were to say, son I love you but you're a screw up and you always have been and it's time to come home to Crawford and resign, that would be dramatic too..

11. Clinton DID speak out, only not the Clinton you're referring to
The one Democrat who I heard with my own two ears level those lying fucks more than once was Hillary. When they were giving it to Bill, this brilliant lady, loyal wife and fine Democrat.....the one that's gets so unfairly beaten to death on this forum with lies on a daily basis....gave it back to those right wing fuckers in a way that made them think twice about doing it again. On one occasion she belittled Limbaugh so badly, she practically had him in tears. No other Democrat has given it back to the right wing mobsters as eloquently and voraciously as Hillary has, when the occasion has called for it.

The other side knows that when they hurl a stone at her, they're gonna get a brick hurled back at them.

12. Carter does interviews and he does warn about
this administration. He says it has broken from ALL previous administrations in its actions of pre-emptive war and other actions.

And he just wrote a book - Endangered Values
