GOP may use "nuke option" on ANWR
www.wilderness-sportsman.com

"Senate Republicans prepared a targeted version of the so-called “nuclear option” yesterday as they tried to ensure adoption of a defense-spending conference report that includes a controversial provision opening the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) to oil and gas drilling.

The tactic promises to make the consensus-based Senate temporarily resemble the majority-dominated House"

1. What happened to Aulito? He's not important enough to
waste ammo on, I guess. Either that or Stevens and Frist have something going on we don't know about.

3. As long as they leave a single Senator
to suggest the absence of a quorum.

4. You know, I'm sick to death of the GOP rewritting the rules of both
the Senate and House whenever they want. It's time to overthrow this government and begin again.

5. THis highlights what is important to them; not our soldiers, but
lining the oil companies' pockets. How much money is enough? :grr:

6. SHUT IT DOWN THEN! Stop these bastards!
Reid and our Senators got our calls yesterday. They KNOW we support them in standing up to these fascist bastards. They MUST use everything in their power to stop them. All they need to do is use Senate PROCEDURES to bring the Senate to a stand still..... Read every word of a 10,000 page bill. ;)
