We just heard Junior admit to the world on a Saturday morning that he has been spying on Americans, not once, but at least 36 times, without a warrant. And he said he will keep doing it!!?!!

This is a challenge to all Americans.

I'm going to work right now fighting this bullshit. If we roll over on THIS, too, we deserve to live under a dictator.

This is priority one for me now.

2. Please write to GiveEmHell, Harry! He needs to hear us!
From DUer Oregon Blue:

Write to Senator Reid and DEMAND the Democrats stand up to this tyranny!

Dear Senator Reid,

This morning the President admitted that he had authorized warrantless spying on U.S. citizens. I am writing to you to DEMAND that the Democrats stand united against this violation of our civil liberties.

I am so angered by this admission, I cannot urge you strongly enough to stand against this blatantly illegal act by the president. I implore you, do not back down, do not let this Administration get away with this in the name of “protecting our freedom”. This undermines the very nature of freedom. Do not allow the Republicans to sweep this under the rug or to find a compromise.

Protecting the civil rights our nation was founded upon is your most sacred duty. If the Democrats do not stand against this tyranny, our nation is lost. I guarantee you, if you do not stand up to the GOP and the president; you will all face major repercussions and SERIOUS consequences in the next election. You are there to do the work of the American people. Protecting us from tyranny is your job. Do not fail us now.

8. Thanks! I spoke to Reid's aide for about 7 minutes.
Other calls were starting to come in.

I said we can't let this pass...next time it will be worse.

Said I took it as a challenge from Junior to the American people to try and stop him.

The aide is taking this VERY seriously. He said a lot of people aren't aware that Bush went on TV this morning.

Keep calling your senators and reps!

5. Yes! I just called my representative and left a long litany of reasons
why Bush must be stopped.

If we let this go, next time it will be worse.

I also told her that millions will be standing beside legislators that stand up for the American people.

7. I feel the exact same way- this is a clarion call to all True Patriots.
This ditch-delivered president is now my ultimate sworn enemy. I have sworn allegiance to The Constitution and this man has openly attacked the document which has protected myself and my progenators from tyranny. Within law's boundaries, I will do everything to remove him and his disgusting kind from the places of power they have built their nests, built with the bloody pluckings of destroyed lives he used to build them. I would gladly support legislation for the removal and imprisonment of an executive officer so unbound by our nation's most sacred document.
