judge rules for trial in Wolf Creek case
www.wilderness-sportsman.com

"A federal magistrate in Durango has ruled that a lawsuit brought by the owners of Wolf Creek Ski Area against Wolf Creek developers needs to be resolved at trial.

The ruling, one of several issued Dec. 1, is the latest in a round of claims and counterclaims in a partnership formed in the 1980s between Texas billionaire Billie Joe "Red" McCombs and Kingsbury Pitcher, a legendary ski resort owner in the West.

One issue, among many, involves rights and duties under a joint venture they agreed to in July 1999 that later went sour. "

1. Hey...Sounds good but you might want to post in Montana State Forum...
I clicked and got a discussion that seemed kind of local for DU "General Discussion" Forum where many folks might not get what it's all about...

2. ok thanks
I had thought since the project was on and near national forest land it deserved a national forum. It's a big ski development in Colorado that is going to be one heck of a political battle.
