I don't mean really, I doubt their is anyone here or in the world, who actually want women to have Abortions. The group would actually be satire/ridicule group who acts as though they think Abortion is a really good idea, and who actively promote and recruit young women to get Abortions, especially in the "Red States."

Do you think the "Pro-Life" promoters and followers would "get it?" or would they just think a group of radical liberals/Democrats were finally showing what they really wanted all along?

1. Big difference ...
pretending to be rich vs pretending to be FOR abortion.

No one is FOR abortion. Hard to be satirical about the subject.

And no, doubt they would get it.

Cheers

2. I'm pro-abortion
seriously.

I'm completely Pro-abortion for any woman who chooses to have one

I'm absolutely for abortion in any case where someone feels that's the right choice for them.

I'm also pro-choice. And pro-birth. And pro-adoption.

I'm pro-whatever-a-woman-decides-is-best-for-her-and-her-pregnancy

8. I agree with Heddi.
I am pro-abortion. Not as in forcing people to have them, but as in, if a woman wants one, why should she have to feel ashamed and hide it?

Isn't it sometimes the preferred outcome, making a life for a young girl instead of destroying many? Giving a young girl a future she wants instead of one she dreads? I am for that.

And I am for not having to force women to act as if "reproductive choice" means some choices are more valuable than others. We should value all women and their choices.

9. I don't think they would either

They thought Stephen Colbert was really "one of them" at first too and he does satire. So I doubt it. Maybe some would get it but not enough to mean anything. I'm sure we all get what they (Billionares for Bush) are about (I think they're hilarious).

10. A RW talking point is that liberals want abortion to be mandatory
I know it's rediculous - but what did you expect?

6. I had not heard of them (L.A.W.), so how did it go over?
Did anyone get it, and did they get much attention?

7. I didn't get to see them in person.
I lived in Dallas during the 84 Repub convention. However, the only time I got anywhere near that mess was when a friend and I had to rescue another friend from the insanity.

I totally blogged about it, yo:

4. um, that's the opposite concept than the BFB......
so it kinda lacks the satirical aspect, dontcha think?
the old women against women is more like it, pretending to be anti- reproductive frredom.

5. Well that's a new one on me, I'd never heard of that group before.
I was in Photography School back then, so I didn't watch much T.V. and to be honest, I never though any Democrat had a chance against Reagan in the 1984 election, so I didn't pay much attention to it.
