Here is a great, small business owner selling American hand-made comfy comfy shoes. I love their stuff. Yep, they are more expensive, but not a lot. I've had one pair of their shoes for FIVE years, wear them a lot, and they still look very good.

I would like to see more sites posted with great, American-made stuff. People wonder "what happened to America." One thing is that we didn't support our crafts people.

1. I am a woodworker.

I make various bird houses (bluebird, wren, owl), bird feeders, and plant boxes for friends and family. I do not sell them, yet anyway. I just enjoy working and keeping busy.
Though I do have a shop, and sometimes I do sweat. :)

sewn gifts, homemade jams, gift certificates from a local nursery or plants. Go to local antique stores or vintage jewelry or glassware.
