Poll question: Christmas: denude or neuter?
William Donohue of the Catholic League declared, "This clearly demonstrates that the Bush administration has suffered a loss of will and that they have capitulated to the worst elements of our culture." He continued, "To neuter Christmas, this is sending the wrong message to Christians and the culture at large."

A 1959 John Birch Society pamphlet stated, “One of the techniques now being applied by the Reds to weaken the pillar of religion in our country is the drive to take Christ out of Christmas — to denude the event of its religious meaning.”

I'm glad you found the John Birch Society info--the War On Christmas has been going on a long time & we Liberal/Secularists didn't start it.

Neutering should be limited to pets--& a few Republicans.
