Please DU this poll where CNN asks if Bush's 4 Iraq speeches...
Edited on Wed Dec-14-05 03:08 PM by harlinchi
...changed your views about the war.

http://www.cnn.com

As of 3:00 p.m., of 69,725 votes, 91% or 63,200 said no while 6,525 or 9% said yes. That's resounding but not astounding to me.

8. Why would they need to freep it? I'm sure their views weren't changed
either, so they're voting the same as us.

7. I haven't listened to all these speeches, but from what I heard it was the
same BS we've been hearing since the war began. There was nothing there to change anyone's mind. Those who agree with Bush after all the lies that have been told will never not agree with him. The country is now so polarized (exactly what the neocons designed) that any speech by Bush is not going to make any difference. Those who disagree with him don't believe anything he says anymore.

11. Another ambiguously worded poll.
How about:

How have the president's remedial reading exercises in front of screened audiences made you feel about the war?

- Optimistic
- Pessimistic
- This fucking idiot is in charge?

C'mon, another lame CNN poll.

14. So bush "accepts responsibility"...........
and that means..........what? Nothing, absolutely nothing. It's not like he's going to do anything different from now on because of it. It's going to be (dirty) business as usual at the White House.
So, bush is responsible for the government's crappy job in handling hurricane relief, running up a staggering deficit, believing "faulty" intelligence (manufactured intelligence is more like it) and a host of other other national disasters. And that's supposed to make everything OK? As long as he "takes responsibility" :eyes: for his constant fuck-ups then all is forgiven? I think not. If he TRULY accepted any responsibility at all he'd resign from office. Yeah, like THAT will happen! So, he's done absolutely nothing at all. Nothing but mumble some more meaningless words, his trademark.
