Stephanie Miller - a great let-down. How could she be so stupid?

Tell me if you think I'm wrong, but she really screwed up this morning. She voiced sexual innuendos to a firemen in the audience at a show she was doing from Reno, NV. It was really, really careless.

Spoke with a flirting tone.
Told they guy she had a room at the hotel.
Talked about sleeping naked that night under some item that they were talking about in the conversation - a gift to her?

I was driving, half listening, half interested until I put it all together.

I think the Air America hosts should draw a line.

Their most professional host, Katherine Lanfur (sp?), is taking a break to write a book? They need her back soon.

I listened to her when Sirius dropped AAR and she was added to Sirius left. But I only lasted a week or so. She is nuts, IMO.

edit to add - she is syndicated through the Jones Network, like Ed Schultz ( I think he still is even though his show was sold to different owners).

She is on instead of Jerry Springer on many of the Progressive Talk stations - part AAR, runs part Jones shows, etc. I know this is how it works in Boston, DC, Quad Cities and other places also. I actually like this programming. (Morning Sedition(will change to the new shows), Stephanie, Franken, Schultz, Rhodes, Majority Report)

14. I like her. I think she is on the mark most of the time. I learned

something about myself from your responses. I learned that I really care about Air America Radio. I want it to survive. I don't want real reasons for the right wing to attack the hosts. Thanks for setting me straight.

she is a comedian. I think that is why her show is funnier and more entertaining then many other shows.

Every talk radio host occasionally says something that I don't like but I don't agree with anyone 100% of the time.

I can understand not wanting to give the RW any ammo but I don't think being hot for firefighters will do it. :D

She's bawdy and handles her 'right-wing love muffins' very nicely. And the "Lying Sack of Crap Song" makes me smile in the morning!

And the 'slutty' act is a definite staple of her show. BTW, why do AAR/Jones Radio hosts have to 'draw a line'? :shrug: The rw radio never does! Just wondering...

34. My number one reason for posting is because I thought she was

with Air America Radio. She is carried by stations who are listed as Air America. I don't think her program is marketed as comedy; I believe it is presented as political commentary.

My number two reason for posting is because I think Dems should not do what Repubicans do to avoid having another reason for 'super pure, family value' Republicans to attack a Dem.

I don't care if the person is male or female, though the attack on a female for being sexist will probably cause more hysteria than if it had been a male because they despise feminists.

I've also posted about Frankens scatological jokes. I also stated that he should clean up his act before running for Coleman's Senate seat for the same super pure place they come from.

My main concern is feeding them.
