Who thinks "Herding Cat's" Strategy is GOOD for Dems? I DO! I Do!
Edited on Thu Dec-08-05 06:53 PM by KoKo01
I'm watching the cables now...back to the TV DEVIL...and I know fellow DU'ers might think I have "worms in my brain/bats in the bellfry/fleas in my fries..........but!

I'm seeing the Repugs Crying...and BEGGING for help on their failed policies. Like Bully/Thugs...when something goes wrong with their plans or tactics they CAST BLAME. But, what if their opposition is so divided they can't find a foe to fight?

It's sort of like Iraq where our troops don't know the loyalties of the next Suicide Bomber who pops out of a hidey hole or maybe it's Insurgents from Syria or Iran.. WHO IS THE ENEMY TO OUR TROOPS...they probably don't know but their "Commander-in-Chief" tells them "It's those who hate us for our FREEDOM!"

So...DEMS actually might have A GREAT AND COMPREHENSIVE STRATEGY..by laying "low" and showing that WE MIGHT NOT HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS AND CERTITUDE OF FOX (FAUX) NEWS and the BUSH BOTS...but OUR PARTY IS OPEN TO DISCUSSION AND DIALOG!

WHAT BETTER WAY to BEAT BULLIES at their OWN GAME? What you ask...how does one beat the bullies?
WELL...
Maybe from our "seeming" WEAKNESS ...Comes our STRENGTH?

What do other DU'ers think about this?

2. I hear little wailing about failed policies from the idiots in Congress
and I'm seeing a lot of bullying to get more and more of those failed policies through. Most of the complaints about failure are coming from people who are being hurt very badly by them, not from the rich men who play at representing them.

Change in the Demos has always come from the bottom up, which is why the DLC hasn't been able to get enough people elected to do anything but sit and rubberstamp the GOP policies they love and pretend not to care if there's ever a policy they don't love.

Anybody who tries to herd cats is destined for failure. You have to figure out what those cats are interested in, and follow along.

3. "Warpy," please read this thread on other DU Post...and look
for my reply about the Dems working on Congressional Reform.

I think C-Span will repeat this over the weekend...it was really good whether you are cynical like me...or hopeful...I feel that "some Dems" are trying.

Here's the post and thread...but look for my post about what our Dems "tried to do." I know...the Operative Word is what our Dems "TRIED" to DO...and that it sometimes seems it's not successful..

anyway..if you want to bother:

4. Maybe my "OP" wasn't clear...But Dems are Turning Dialog into Discussion!
Something the "Robot Bush/PNAC/Neo-Con/RW REPUG THINK TANKS...just aren't capable of doing?

If we Dems can become the "PARTY OF DISCUSSION and INCLUSION" then we will WIN the hearts and minds of America who "STILL THINKS."

It might not be a bad strategy....and I think it comes from Howard Dean who is really "Average American" from Vermont who has lived in the same house forever and even his "Jewish Wife" who has to understand that "SOMETHING IS NOT GOING WELL IN AMERICA!" I will go with Howard and his Wife for a "Fusion" Dem Party ...and figure the Mainstream Media will IMPLODE ON IT'S OWN?

I still stick with Dean and his wife as being very REAL...if they acn hook up with John Edwars and particularly Elizabeth Edwards...we DEMOCRATS have a CHANCE of MAKING CHANGE here in AMERICA for OUR FUTURE!

 This is all just my ranted, ravings here...thinking that maybe I see more than there really "Is" to see.. That there REALLY
"IS" a Strategy.

I might be wrong....:-(
