No global warming: We're in a "cycle"
Edited on Wed Dec-07-05 07:28 PM by linazelle
This just in from the Today Show weather people. (Actually, I heard this about a week ago but was not able to post it.)

According to said weather guy, global warming is not valid. We are just in a bad weather cycle, which--get this--may last twenty years or more.

4. That is true, we are in a busier hurricane cycle
So hurricanes alone are not the best argument for golbal warming. There are many more examples with biological cues, mostly in arctic areas which are more telling.

6. It's both.

Global warming is making the tropical water sufrace temperature warmer, be we are also entering an active phase of an, IIRC, 30yr cycle. There is a thread around here somewhere with a good chart showing the ineraction between Global warming, the cycle, and the # of hurricanes goiung back to the late 1800's.

8. Weather men are not experts on climate.
So, the weather man's opinion about Global Warming should not be given any more credibility that anyone else's opinion.
