"If it's Not Torture, Then it's OK To Use it on Cheney"
"We do not torture."

That's what President George W. Bush said, and we can believe him, right? After all, that whole water boarding thing is just a walk in the park. Here is how CIA sources described this technique to ABC News:

"The prisoner is bound to an inclined board, feet raised and head slightly below the feet. Cellophane is wrapped over the prisoner's face and water is poured over him.

Unavoidably, the gag reflex kicks in and a terrifying fear of drowning leads to almost instant pleas to bring the treatment to a halt."

4. In the navy in '68 - '69 I was stationed at a survival training
camp in Warner Springs California. Having to complete the course to be stationed there I feel I might shed a little light on torture. We didn't torture our students to the point of broken bones or bruises but we had a very stringent interogation program. Some students in most classes would break down and It was so sad to witness. When I was interogated I was scared as hell, they knew stuff about me that I didn't think anyone would know, and used it to try to extract anything from me except name rank and serial number. To soften me up they put me in a box that you wouldn't think you could stuff a body in let alone one that was breathing. When the lid was openned I couldn't even stand up on my own. My time in the box was actually only 20 minutes but seemed like hours. Interogators hollering, guns being fired, people screeming. Some of which I recognized as fellow students. To say the least I was scarred shitless and am not ashamed to admit it either. Well I came through and for the most part had forgetten it until this bunch hit the scene. Treathened with bodliy harm, hearing the screems, the guns and the whole feeling of hopelessness, it took a long time before sound sleep crossed my way. Mine was in training but it was after several in the class had already called it quits. It was a five week course where we had to find our own food and water, you'll be susprised at what you will eat or drink when forced. By the time we got to the concentration camp I knew I had been captured and this was as real as it gets. I've never talked to anyone about this and my typing this morning send shivers down my spine. So I can say. Yes, I was tortured by the united states navy.

6. :^( So we perfected our techniques on our own military, all in the name of
battle readiness?

7. You got it. The students were pilots, commanders to be of
bases and or ships with the occasional person like myself who were destined to be stationed there.
