Who doesn't buy the Bush assassination attempt in Georgia?
The event was staged to make Bush look invincible. The whole rally was a Bush photo op/propaganda piece.

2. Staged to the extent of killing a Georgian police officer?
I think it was real, although I can't decide whether he was a deranged kook acting alone or whether he was put up to it. The Georgians were all plastered to their TVs the week this guy was arrested...
