4. I love this idea!!!
I am only familar with Coleen Rowley, so a little info on the candidates and the Congressional district that they are running for would be helpful.

Feingold impresses me a lot.

6. I love Nick too Steve, but John Courage in CD21 needs it more
I'm on board supporting Nick financially. I've been an early supporter of his. Nick is doing a fabulous job raising money. He's very well connected. He's already raised over a million dollars. That's the minimum you need to run a Congressional race. John Courage needs this endorsement. We need to get on that same road of financial support Nick already has. A vote for John is also a vote against DeLay.

I want you to take a look at my candidate running in CD21 - John Courage. John can beat Lamar Smith and we can send both Nick Lampson and John Courage to Congress. Help us take back Texas. Texas is ground zero.

Thanks

Sonia

7. Picked Francine Busby to replace the Dukestir! (Cunningham)...
Edited on Mon Dec-05-05 06:21 PM by calipendence
She's running for Cunningham's seat right NOW in a special election to replace him and needs the money NOW to win the 50th district here in San Diego for the Dems. I've talked to her on a number of occasions here in San Diego at various functions, and she's a very decent and receptive person.

If I didn't pick her, I'd probably pick Colleen Rowley, who I do favor for her stances on whistelblower protection and getting to the bottom of this government conspiracy that's being covered up so much now that is killing our government. I will talk to Francine Busby towards trying to being a good advocate for the whistleblowers too. It's kind of ironic that the day she got notice that she'd be running in a special election for Cunningham's seat and got a new political bone thrown to her, Sibel Edmonds' judicial appeals had all been exhausted when the Supreme Court turned her down! Busby's already written some proposed legislation for proposed new rules on ethics and campaign finance reform that she's putting out to the public.
