Friday night I believe it was since Malloy was out of town I was listening to another progressive host I like that comes on at the same time named Lionel. He was talking about all sorts of various things and a guy called in who said he was the co-chair of his local democratic party headquarters in his area. I can't remember where he was from but I think it was Michigan or some area like that. Anyways, the guy was saying last year when it came time for them to vote for who they were going to support he claims that at least ten people voted for Howard Dean and only four voted for John Kerry. They announced though as a group they overwhemingly voted for John Kerry. The guy claimed that someone in the group got an offer to work for the Kerry camp. Has anyone else here experienced something like that? Being the liberal that I am I question everything. I'm not doubting what he's saying but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this happen before.
1. I worked with our DFA group in Kalamazoo, and I didn't hear of it.
I never heard of any of our members voting for Kerry or anyone other than Dean. We were all pretty sad we lost the primary here in Michigan after all that work, but most of us went on to volunteer pretty heavily for Kerry, seeing as Dean wasn't the nominee.
 I guess what counts in actuality is that the voters in the primaries did. I remember watching the Iowa cacus (after the election was over) and Kerry was ahead with 60% and Dean trailing not too far behind him. Did all the Dean stuff happen before or after the Iowa Cacus dinner?
