1. Sweetie, you're trying to make sense which just isn't going to work
I'm sure if Christ were alive today he'd be horrified to hear how people beat-up each other at Wal-Mart just to get a cheap laptop all in the name of His birthday

3. I'm a Law and Order Christian, and I don't believe in celebrating Xmas
He broke the law. He was sentenced to death. And after having had that sentence carried out, Jesus DEFIED the authorities to rise from the dead and ESCAPE from custody.

If anyone know the whereabouts of this "Jesus" character, they should report it immediately. Furthermore, I am aware that a large number of Americans claim to be in regular contact with "Christ" - those individuals need to be rounded up and tortured until they reveal his location.

9. Are the "Wanted" posters in all the post offices yet ???
The fundies and "people of faith" would never recognise him because they'd mistake him for a homeless guy......

5. Do We Start Telling Them Christ Wasn't Born Til Spring???
I've had fun spinning this one for years. So many are sooooo convinced Jesus was really born on 12/25...when you start throwing in not only the Pagan nature of most xmas rituals...and how the holiday is nothing more than stealing other religion's winter soltice festivals to "boost membership".

The funniest ones are the ones who want to get back to the "real meaning of xmas"...WTF is that? Going shopping? Bombing A-rabs? Forcing medivial supersitions as teachings in our schools? Witch burnings?

Cheers...

11. Christians just used Roman dates for things
It let them meet etc and get away with it because of Roman Holidays. It is like what the people of the Bible looked like. It came through the Greek and Roman Gods. In fact every society has had the same type of leaders in their history to make the world understandable to them. It also seems that they are all willing to kill you if you do not believe like them. Just like them in some cases.:dilemma:

12. I figure it is all over
when Rod Stewart is singing Christmas carols on tv. It is hopeless. I will celebrate Christmas in my home only and try like crazy to avoid it anywhere else.

The "true" meaning of Christmas is a concept so enormous that to even say "incarnation" in some churches requires a bowed head. Somehow I doubt many fundies really get into the "true" meaning of Christmas.
