I just got about the eighteenth recorded phone call in the last month from people bitching about Rob Simmons (the Congressman for eastern Connecticut).

At least this one identified itself as being from "Voices for working families action fund." The rest don't identify themselves, and the fucking cowards all show up on Caller ID as "out of area."

I don't like Rob Simmons. But I dislike people disrupting my business by calling my office phone with this shit even more.

And I dislike it most of all when people don't even have the guts to identify themselves, thereby depriving me of the ability to call them and tell them to leave me the fuck alone.

I'll make up my own mind without any help from you, thank you very much. Now go away.

1. I think all charities and political causes should have an option

If you donate enough money, they remove you from telephone lists and mailing lists - except for one mailing as a reminder one year hence.

2. They can send me all the mail they want to; I don't mind. But stay off

my business phone! And my home phone, for that matter.

And at least have the courtesy to identify themselves.
