1. I don't know, but it sure feels like we're being tortured and burning in..
...fire. They say we're supposed to really suffer during the apocolypse, and I surely am suffering now...

4. Maybe a flotilla of "respected Republican leaders" will be asked
to mobilize and show up at the White House door one morning to read Dubya the riot act, namely that the party is going down the toilet unless widespread staff changes are made.

There's a long time between now and 2008, and some of these elder GOP stalwarts might just feel that if Dubya can't sling the hash, he ain't workin' rush hour at the diner. They'll demand he make staff changes or they will bring pressure to bear to halt every one of his legislative initiatives until the second he leaves office.

Dubya has no high cards left in the deck.
