Does God not like Bush?
Edited on Fri Nov-25-05 10:37 PM by ck4829
He chokes on a pretzel, he falls off a segway, he gets injured while riding his bike, etc, etc, etc.

Nasty looking bruises are a trademark of the Bush Administration.

It has to make you wonder, is God sending some of her divine wrath in **'s direction?

7. Yeah, where the hell has the lightning been all this time?
The guy rode his stump jumper bike for the cameras in Texas. That would have been a perfect time.

Speaking of which, why hasn't Robertson gotten a good smiting for telling the people in rural Pennsylvania that they couldn't call on god in times of trouble? Where was it when he called down hurricanes and tornadoes on Disney World?

The very fact that none of those overpaid, overstuffed televangelists is standing there with his $2,000 suit smoking and his pomaded hair fried to a crisp over the dead silence over that gay prostitute in the White House press room (not to mention sleepovers) is proof to me that their god doesn't exist, at all.

In any case, if we want the wicked to get a good smiting, we're going to have to rely on our legal system to do it for us. God doesn't seem to be interested.

9. The present blurring of church and state boundaries may bring
them both down. Bush is the best argument against Christianity in a long time.

14. Here, here! A brilliant insight.
That's why I stopped believing. Proof beyond a reasonable doubt, as they say. Doesn't make me feel any better though.:(

15. FSM has been whispering in *'s ear in order to punish all of us
for our sins. In a way, we deserve Bush (we elected him)--it's the rest of the world that's getting screwed.
