This was on BBCs 'Newsnight' last night. It's about Junior The Madman wanting to bomb the HQ of Al-Jazeera to stop them showing the TRUTH about what was happening in Iraq.

Watch the utter propaganda that Gaffney comes out with, and how the Al-Jazeera fellow bitchslaps Gaffney upside the head. It's VERY entertaining.

Work for BBC Asia...or MANY of them used to work for BBC Asia. So these people are legitimate and respected PROPER journalists.

5. Thank you! I was watching Newsnight in bed while trying to sleep

last night. The lead story on Al-Jazeera was rolling along, and I must have dozed off because next thing I knew, the three men on the panel were yelling at each other. I didn't realize that was Gaffney at the time; he is such a creep. Thank you for clarifying.

I thought Jeremy's question about "how could one contemplate bombing an organization of journalists in the middle of an effort called Operation Iraqi FREEDOM" was priceless.

Lately I've been paying special attention to Newsnight, Channel 4 and More4 to see the stories censored by American television, which I don't watch anymore. I have an old Mac PowerBook hooked up to a DSL line and a Sony TV in the bedroom just for this purpose. Pretty much everything is available on Windows Media Player, which works very well on older computers like mine with slower processors.

I'm trying to figure out a way to quickly edit and post video clips like these using VLC media player's download feature so that folks here on DU would have easier access to reports out of Britain. I remember as a little kid how Vietnam was ended by TV news coverage and it drives me nuts that U.S. audiences do not have easy access to more reports like these.

because he came across as a brutal psychopath, seeing as he was advocating the bombing of innocent Al Jazeera personnel. I thought his remarks were so violent I transcribed them in this thread.

The only keep the programme on the web for 24 hours. The one with Gaffney was broadcast on Tuesday, 10:30pm GMT. What you see now is the one that was broadcast a couple of hours ago.
