"Republicans Suffer From Bush: US Map Trending Blue
by dreaminonempty
Fri Nov 18, 2005 at 07:16:19 AM PDT
The Survey USA 50-state polling is out for November, as noted before, and it's not good news for Bush in more ways than one. His `base' of strong support has dwindled to a grand total of two states. He is also losing ground among Republicans, notably in the South. And the number of respondents who are identified as Republican is decreasing. Will Bush ruin his own party?"

More at link.

Edit: DKos has only one D, according to my research.

1. Ah, much more soothing
Cool, refreshing blue. Redness indicates infection and irritation.
Ask any doctor.

8. Not sure how far you want to take that metaphor
Blue skin and lips indicate severe lack of oxygen, which would be fatal if not cured, doesn't it?

9. Oh, yes!
I live in Texas, and hope to see it a deep, deep blue soon. Maybe my fellow Texans are waking up; I sure hope so.

13. Well that map must make
the southerners feel a little better. Here we were all thinking it was the most Republican area but it seems the west has taken that honor now.

Honestly, I know nothing about the people in Utah and Idaho. Drove through Utah once....it was beautiful. What makes Utah and Idaho so darned red?

14. A more recent poll showed only four states favoring Bush.
