3. Yup.
And I wonder what prompted the need to explain.

4. Oh, I think we all know
how the sane and sentient among us feel about Dickless Cheney, don't you?

The neocons must rush to assure everyone that it was just Fox needing to reboot.

I'd like to give them a hand with that rebooting .................

'X' marks the spot on CNN
Posted Nov 22, 2005, 2:07 PM ET by Anna Johns
Filed under: News, Cable

On Monday, CNN fueled the fire among conservatives who like to complain about the "liberal media" when a giant, black X appeared over Vice President Dick Cheney's face. CNN was carrying Cheney's speech live when the big X popped up on the screen a couple of times, each time for less than a 15th of a second. There's a lot of buzz among conspiracy theorists news watchers who are convinced that the X was intentional (ahem, Matt Drudge). CNN says it was a technical malfunction. Why an 'X'? It's used by news stations to set the black level for animations. It really does appear to be an unfortunate mistake that makes CNN looks stupid. I've been in news control rooms where the director is preparing an effect and accidentally punches it up on air. Haven't you ever seen something else appear behind the weather man, other than the satellite maps? However, the "15th of a second" glitch gave this morning's Fox and Friends something to talk about in a segment they called Technical or Tactical? Classy.

16. So by making a big deal of something Fox should know is "normal" to NEWS
they're admitting to & calling attention to the fact that they actually know jack about doing news right? ;)

14. Cheney speech, brought to you by: The Letter 'X'
Some right-wing bloggers went into x-treme hysterics yesterday, after the letter 'X' briefly appeared super-imposed on a CNN feed of Vice President Dick Cheney's speech.

"This is a diabolical plot by CNN to associate Dick Cheney with a letter of the alphabet," said right-wing pundit Matt Drudge, "Ultra-liberal CNN is obviouly trying to subliminally smear Cheney as some kind of straight-edge punk rocker."

Initial reports had it that CNN was responsible for the letter X's cameo. A CNN public relations rep claimed that CNN was not attacking Cheney, but actually wanted to give him an X-Box for Xmas. Later, the letter 'X' took responsibility for the incident, and came forward as a sponsor of Cheney's speech.

At a press conference, the letter 'X' reminded reporters that X stands for X-Unknown, X-Factor, X-Axis of evil, X-Chromosome, Xenophobia, (Camp) X-Ray, and X-Acto Knife.
