I think it really shows how much (dis)respect you have for anyone who has served or is serving in the military. It doesn't matter if the remark was hers or one she repeated, to call a decorated military veteran a coward shows her true feelings.

by really getting dem blood boiling. Any thing that gets the restrained Harold Ford leaping off his seat, yelling, running and leaping a barrier is a good thing.

Could they be that dumb? Maybe someone knew and didn't stop her but I don't think anyone gave it to her. She is craven enough to come up with that herself and new and haughty enough to think she had the right to.

Someone posted a link to freeperville here about military records of congress and many were quoting her though. Marines stay and fight, not cut and run. So they did like it. Maybe it was intended.
