to see Christians continue to misunderstand what Jews are all about, but it is sadder to watch them unleash their venom for no damn reason at all.

Sure, they believe a lot of things that cannot be proven. Thats called faith. So do Jews. Its also called faith. But Jews dont believe we hold the patent on faith and we dont run around everywhere looking to convert people, like Christians do. We dont espouce lakes of fire, fire and brimstone, devils, demons, hell, purgatory and the rest.

We dont regard G-d as vengeful, fearful, and in need of constant adulation. We dont follow the words and teachings of questionably educated ministers or self appointed pastors. We dont go around calling everybody a sinner and most of all, we dont claim that God does not listen to the prayers of any one group over another.

Over the centuries, Jews have been attacked, accused, fallen victim to genocidal maniacs, and convicted of murdering one of our own who never once in his life advicated a religion be established in his name.

And yet, despite all this, we Jews have survived, we have flourished. we have become smarter, stronger and as a group, percentage weise, have contributed more for the benefit of the world than any other group, including Christians. I refer to medicine, music, art, philosophy, engineering, science, literature, etc. Just look at thje list of Nobelists in the world.

And yet it is Christans who claim ownership of morality,, faith and God himself. And again, despite all this supposed superiority, they still go ballistic in defense should there be any criticism of them or their faith no matter the reason or the intensity.

Now, when someone claims christians are bigoted when it comes to sexual preferences, they cry foul, yet it is christians who beat up gays, enact and enforce laws to keep them as second class citizens.

Keep this in mind......God made us all. This means he also made Homosexuals and since he has been making them for a very long time and continues to make them, he must like them. Gays are God's children just as you believe you are. Don't get him pissed at you.

19. Many of the people who espouse Christian 'values' have no concept

of what the real values are.

Compassion, empathy, caring, love, understanding, communal help and aid, forgiveness...these are all lost in the rhetoric of the blind leading the blind. I can see nothing wrong with the real values of Christianity, and try, (often failing) to abide by these values.

Whether one considers him/herself a Christian, Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, Taoist,Agnostic, Atheist or anything else, I think these values are good. and ones that should be aspired to.

For those that feel some reason to hate...they should be avoided and exposed as the evil creatures they are; they will rot from the inside out.

Just my two cents as a member that would like to see the hate from all sides dissipate.

20. I read a lot of that thread

and it was easy to separate the adults from the kids. The crude obession with homosexual sex acts pretty much reveals that most of the bigots in that thread were probably not over 15 years old. Hopefully they'll outgrow their need to put other people down for their religion and/or ethnicity.

On the other hand, there were a few posters who were equally bigotted but more well-spoken. These people, I think, were adults, including the person who was plugging for stormfront. Fortunately it seemed the adults were in the minority.
