31. Wow. A poll that doesn't actually need our help.
Edited on Sat Nov-19-05 12:20 PM by Patsy Stone
The 70K respondents to the first question can't be all be DUers, can they? :)

Not only did they put the most important questions last, they put them way on the bottom of the page and made people scroll through. There's a 50% fall off between responses to the main question "above the fold" and the fourth question on the scroll through below.

Bad, AOL! Bad!

34. AOL is always full of trick poll questions, but since Sheehan and Katrina,
most of their polls have not needed DU help! They can't fool most of the people anymore!

That's why I ordered them the way I did in my post!

35. Did they screw this up?
''To question your government is not unpatriotic -- to not question your government is unpatriotic.''
-- Sen. Chuck Hagel, D-Neb., Nov. 15

I thought Hagel was a "R"?

36. Indeed
And he owned ES&S, so Hagel needs to be questioned as well

http://www.scoop.co.nz/mason/stories/HL0301/S00166.htm

On October, 10, 2002 Bev Harris, author of the upcoming “Black Box Voting: Ballot-Tampering” in the 21st Century, revealed that Republican Senator Chuck Hagel has ties to the largest voting machine company, Election Systems & Software (ES&S). She reported that he was an owner, Chairman and CEO of Election Systems & Software (called American Information Systems until name change filed in 1997). ES&S was the ONLY company whose machines counted Hagel’s votes when he ran for election in 1996 and 2002. The Hill, a Washington D.C. newspaper that covers the U.S. national political scene, confirmed her findings today and uncovered more details.

39. Oh I remember this from last year! Did the GAO address this at all in
their investigation into Ohio's election fraud? Was this quote really from Hagel, or did AOL screw that up too?

BTW, DrDeBug I just checked my PM's today, and realized that you had sent me one last week! So sorry I didn't respond, but I usually log onto DU in GD or LBN, and I've found that if I'm not in the lobby, and don't routinely check my inbox, that I don't get a 'new mail' alert! The post was wonderful!, but alas I couldn't kick it because it had already been archived. It is such a difficult subject matter that most people, even DUers, can't respond. What can one say when they look at the ruined lives of our wounded soldiers? It leaves one gasping with horror and grief.
