3. Remarkable that they should expect them.
Other presidents we've had didn't have that worry.

4. "Smaller than *expected*"
That we can EXPECT our president to be fiercely protested in countries that have been our close allies for decades says it all.

5. It bothered me more that they spliced in a comment about Kerry saying
he "respectfully" disagreed with Murtha's comments about withdrawl timetable making it look like Kerry disagreed with everything Murtha said. (Of course with Kerry one never knows so maybe he did disagree with everything Murtha said, anyway)

As far as the Anti-Global Demonstrators, I guess I'm so used to MSM downplaying protestors numbers (like how they said hundreds of Peace Demonstrators instead of thousands) that I always add a few thousand to anything the MSM says about demonstrations figuring I've got closer to the real number.

CNN's "That's Bullshit" Coverage

Lou Dobbs Tonight, (7/15/05) as Lou was introducing a piece on the Rove story.

Lou says, "...Rove testifying that he first learned about Plame from columnist Robert Novak, a CNN contributor. Danna Bash reports." Immediately after that you can clearly hear a female voice on mic whispering "that's bullshit". Then Dana Bash continues with her report.
