From Politics 1:

STAY AWAY: Last week conservative Congressman J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ) said he would not want President Bush's help next year in his congressional re-election race. In fact, Hayworth said he planned to avoid appearing at any events in the state with the President. This week, Connecticut Governor Jodi Rell (R) said she did not want the President's help in her race, either. "I don't think President Bush will want to campaign for me ... As an individual I always respect the President, but we don't always agree on policy," said Rell, who noted for reporters she supports expanded stem-cell research, gay civil unions and abortions rights.

also succeeded Governor John Rowland (R-Federal Pen) who was one of the Golden Boys of the GOP and rumored to be on *s short list for Cabinet positions. Folks in CT don't care much for the latest CT resident in the WH

8. "...who noted for reporters

Then why the hell is she a Republican? Aren't those the kinds of evil things the godless Democrats support?

13. Heard that Rell's approval rating is in the 80s
Most of my neighbors seems to like her a lot, but I can't bring myself to cast a vote for her. The only repub I've ever voted for was Rowland - and look at how that turned out. One more example of betrayal of the public trust.

4. Bush is becoming a pariah.
Or even more of one. So, let' see, the whole world hates him, half of this country hates him and now those in his own party are turning on him. He is well on his way to being the most reviled man in history right behind Hitler.
