and here is what I have come up with based on all of the discussions here at DU.

*Cheney told Woodward about Plame, I am picking him because he fits in better than Hadley and yes I read the RS article.

*Rove is the one who told Fitz about Woodward, I am reasoning this because of the timing with the meeting with Fitz and Rove's lawyer in conjuction when Woodward was called to testify. I belive this was about 7-10 days apart.

Just ask these questions and the answers will appear.

How much trouble was Rove in during the lead up to the Libby indictment?

Why would Woodward sit on his source and watch Judy sit in Jail if his source was not someone important? Very important.


Also why would a practiced DC lawyer like libby knowingly commit perjury in front of Fitz knowing Fitz's reputation unless Libby was protecting someone? A very important someone.

Who has the most to gain or loose by protecting thier baby the Iraq War?

When did Woodward have access to top officials? Quite a bit based on what I have read.

How good has the relationship been between the VP's office and the President's office in the last 6 months, from what I gather "strained" would be putting it mildly.

Why would he do this. Was he going after Libby's job - No, or was he outing someone else such as Rove and company and that lead to the rumors that Rove and Libby were the ones being indicted. Also if Hannah did flip is this a reference to Libby's statement about "Aspens and their Roots turning in clusters" meaning the VP's cluster, the Oval Office cluster and the state department cluster were starting to turn on one another and the first cluster to turn was Hannah naming Rove and this prompted Libby's statement because he could read the writing on the wall.

Think about it, Fitz already had enough on Libby to indict him on obstruction based on the statements Libby made to the GJ and FBI.

Why was the rumor mill so focused on Rove? and then the Tuesday before the indictments there is this curious meeting between Fitz and Rove's lawyer and yes I know about the "email / forgetful memory defense".

This is why Fitz said that he needs to keep investigating Rove's claim and that claim was getting Woodward into to see Fitz in the first week of November. This is also why Fitz used "known" in the press conference because he knew there was a possible earlier source, but had not yer verified the claim / source.

Now Woodward knows the game is up and he has no choice but to come sort of clean, He knows that now he has spoken with Fitz the details will eventually be made public.

Yes Cheney will be resigning shortly with undisclosed health problems

This whole thing is really bugging me and you all are the only ones that I can discuss this with, everyone else does not have time, patience, or open mindeness to chew on this topic with me.

I wonder,though, if Cheney will really "resign." It would open him up to more investigation possibly from civil suits if he does. I expect he will hang in their and keep fighting it out. By remaining he keeps his "executive privilege's" from Dimson. He can be guarded by Dimson because Dimson needs the protection of having folks go at Cheney instead of blaming him. So, it's like a parasitic relationship between the two of them now. I can't imagine Bush maintaining his P-Residency without Cheney.

I think Cheney will hang in despite all odds. I suspect the whole group will just try to fight it out figuring something will "turn up" to restore they popularity. I hate to think what they might be thinking will "turn up" though.
