It is easy to say, hypothetically, but hard to know what one would actually do.

3. That's really hard to answer honestly.

I would like to say that I'd rather die, but I really don't like the idea of death at all right now, and given only those choices for real, I'm not sure which I'd pick. I'd probably be a coward and live as a slave at first, then die once I'd had my fill of it.

Quite frankly I don't give a rat's butt what ANY fatalistic person, book, movie, etc tries to put across. The FACT is that you never truly know what twists and turn arounds fate may bring.

Throughout history there are stories of just such twists and turn arounds. Sometimes it takes time, even a long time but it's those that keep fighting, that keep the spark alive, that keep the door cracked open just a bit for Fate to step in and start the change that was needed.

Trying to take away all hope is a weapon used by those who would control us.
