3. Because they hatched some really nasty plans that included destabilizing
the Middle East and causing the take-over of sovereign nations which is not kosher. And if a few thousand on our side and the other get killed, well that's just a cost of doing business with the major oil companies, who have ruled this country for decades.

6. Here's the original plan that they published
right before Cheney had his secret Energy Task Force. I would be willing to guess that Cheney's plan and the list of participants aren't much different then this one.

5. So energy can be used as a weapon- California as an example.
Brownouts = discontented people = vote out "the cause of it all" which is the Democrat governor. Then vote in Republican - Arnold - who will eventually get the state rezoned Republican - like they did in Texas..

Energy as weapon.

7. It involves stealing contracts away from other nations... and it
involves stealing other nations... well, not exactly stealing, just
nullifying, cancelling, bombing and forcefully installing puppet regimes.

8. Because of the names of the people in attendance.
If there were oil company executives or foreign nationals (Prince Bandar?), he won't want that coming out now. In addition, the list of names will show who WASN'T included -- e.g., environmentalists.
