You complainers don't get it, August 20, 2005 Reviewer: P. Steele "Philosopher" (San Diego, CA USA) - See all my reviews If you've ever seen this thing in action on the dry lake bed at Burning Man, you'd know that it's cool. It's not a tank for battle for god's sake, it's a fun toy to drive on flat surfaces, amuse onlookers and inspire conversation. I can't think of any use for it other than Burning Man, actually. I Love It! Especially With Free Shipping!, November 14, 2005 Reviewer: Gardyloo - See all my reviews This goes to prove that Amazon Prime is really worth the $80 annual cost. I got free two day shipping on this baby, which when you figure the cost of Amazon Prime vs. the normal $5000 shipping, is quite a savings.
I feel like a superhero with this tank. Whenever a jerk won't let a little old lady cross the street, it's easy to wipe out the offending vehicle, and believe me, everyone else stops after that!
There are also no problems with tailgaters; the rear vaporizer just makes them disappear.
Just last week, I saved a family from a menacing pit bull and took out the offending owner's house while I was at it. The empty yard is so much nicer looking now with the cars and appliances on the lawn gone. The neighbors are planning to build a park with a little bandstand and gazebo along with a community organic garden.
I just wish I'd bought it sooner. Don't wait, get yours today, and get your superhero outfit while you're at it. Your whole town will thank you.
Buy American!, October 25, 2005 Reviewer: Eric C. Nelson "insurgent" (Hellshalfacre, CA) - See all my reviews I've been shopping for a light armored vehicle as a second weapon system for my wife. The 60hp Tecumseh engine seemed just right for the driving she does, primarily between our gated community and the Sam's Club in the bad neighborhood.
But I decided not to buy when I learned that the Badonkadonk is produced in Ontario using Korean subassemblies incorporating Indian components machined by Filippino laborers! An American is free to buy any weapon system he wants, but if our upperclass stores, fortified housing, exclusive resort compounds, brokerage offices, and other common destinations have all been built by other Americans, shouldn't our transportation be also?
It costs more and is a bit bigger than I need, but I finally went with a Cadillac-Gage LAV-300. Made in Michigan.
