The MIT foil hat study
Abstract

Among a fringe community of paranoids, aluminum helmets serve as the protective measure of choice against invasive radio signals. We investigate the efficacy of three aluminum helmet designs on a sample group of four individuals. Using a $250,000 network analyser, we find that although on average all helmets attenuate invasive radio frequencies in either directions (either emanating from an outside source, or emanating from the cranium of the subject), certain frequencies are in fact greatly amplified. These amplified frequencies coincide with radio bands reserved for government use according to the Federal Communication Commission (FCC). Statistical evidence suggests the use of helmets may in fact enhance the government's invasive abilities. We speculate that the government may in fact have started the helmet craze for this reason.

5. No wonder they found out the damaging frequencies are amplified

Those morons constructed the hat all wrong.

It's true that due to the thickness of the shiny side of the foil, certain frequencies of EMF are amplified, but anybody that knows anything at all about building a tinfoil hat knows that the shield MUST be made with 2 sheets of aluminum foil, preferably Reynolds Aluminum wrap.

Each of the 2 sheets must be placed dull side (aluminum side) in, with the 2 shiny sides out. What this does is create a microwave cavity between the 2 shiny side reflectors. The aluminum between the shiny sides can then attenuate to intrusive microwaves through repeated refections within the cavity.

Although they mean well, a proper tinfoil hat should be designed and built by experts on the topic, not these tinfoil hat wannabees. Would you go to a acne specialist to be treated for a brain tumor? Of course not. Leave the complicated stuff to those that know what they are doing.

Edit to add: Using a tinfoil hat like in the picture would be like using a Trojan with pinholes in the end. Jimminie Cricket.
