Cindy Sheehan, Max Clellan, Harry Reid, Joe Wilson, DU
Will Pitt, Josh Marshall, Bartcop, George Galloway, Charles Kennedy, Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi, John Conyers, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton,

These are just the first names that came to mind when I thought about where we are right now.

It wasn't one person. It was multiple self-launchings, and groups chipping against what was like forged alloy steel armor plate. But it happened.

4. You're right. It wasn't one person, one website, one event, one reporter..
It's as if the rock of Gibraltar has been brought down by a million hammers and chisels.

5. I don't know about your list...
Many people such as Joe Wilson and George Galloway have been speaking out since before the Iraq war- but credit must go to the blogosphere which has helped spread the word and bring it to the corporate news.

I cannot understand how you can give any credit to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, they have been leading the houses of congress to support Bush, not oppose. The real leaders who have opposed Bush from the beginning, like Kucinich, who have offered real legislation and solutions opposing Bush policy have been ignored by both the corporate media and these so called 'leaders'. Harry Reid led the senate to support Iraq war funding 100-0. Nancy Pelosi is all talk, no action. These phony democrats have been the problem from the beginning so I cannot stand by and let you give them credit...sorry.

Dennis Kucinich is the one who has been leading the way and he is not on your list. Recently McGovern(or was it McDermott) offered legislation to cut-off funding for the war. We need ACTION, not appeasement.
