President Bush could demand answers from his staff. But he continues to plead ignorance, and says he has "no idea" whether we'll ever find out who's guilty. it's not going anywhere. The ABC/Wash. Post poll that came out today shows 67 percent support an independent counsel, including an overwhelming majority of Dems and independents. Also, the percentage of those who think the WH is cooperating with the investigation has declined from 47 to 39 percent. People know the WH is stonewalling, even with all the Arnold coverage drowning it out last week.

The media whores are in high gear spinning the "leak", the lack of WMD, the deaths of our troops, the "success" of the war, the "16 words", et hoc genus omne. The administration goes "behind the back" of the "national press corp" and spins to some of the smaller media outlets, releasing a barrage of "oh feel sorry for us the liberal media is spinning" and Americans of common sense are left asking the $10,000 dollar question.

Have the journalists gotten too close to the power? Since the coup of 2000 we have been insulted by this quasi-elite group of national press corp. We can no longer deny that corruption in this relationship has led to an erosion of people who are truly informed about what is really going on in Washington.
