Hardball and Countdown tonight:2 hours of reality v Bush. Reality won.
Has the great groaning MSM worm finally turned? I've come to expect healthy skepticism and truth-telling from Olbermann...but tonight both he and Tweety came down hard on the Bushies and the "Blame the Democrats--they voted for the war too" balloon that Bunnypants floated today. Tweets kept replaying pre-war administration lies on tape.....
Even Bob Schrum got tough and pointed out that the famous "British intelligence believes that Sadaam Hussein has sought quantities of uranium in Africa" statement was classic lawyerly parsing...the sort of weaselly half truth that a defense attorney makes when he's trying to convince you of something without actually lying.
Plus we heard an intelligence expert say flat out that Congress never gets the all the same intelligence that the White House gets--they merely get what the White House wants to tell them.
Two hours of suspicions aired. Tweety has turned, at least for now. Good omen, maybe?

1. Tweety fell for the lies, so he can "relate" to Dems who may have as well.
He's likely quite pissed right now. YEAH!

4. I think Tweety was paid well to 'fall' for the lies. He probably knew
more than the Congressional Dems did.

3. It's not over.
The Limbaughs, Hannitys, and O'Reillys will continue to catapult the propaganda.

5. tweety's capable of turning over

wing check, multiple homes, and his friendship with GE. He is jittery and wishy-washy. There may be a conscience in there somewhere, however.

8. I agree..but I guess what's cheering me these days is the echo chamber...
Guys like Tweety (and there are far too many of them in msm) feel around very carefully for the safest, ie., most popular ground. And it seems now like everybody's is jumping on the "they lied to us" bandwagon. I don't think it's courageous fact finding...they've all known this crap for years...I think they're just reading the polls. They must see a powerful force in all the negative polling. That's got to be a good sign. (I WILL be cheerful about this, damnit!,

7. Tweety loves his big paycheck and tax cuts.
He's not one of the good guys.
