The GOP strategy -- More of the SOS (Same Old S***)
Edited on Fri Nov-11-05 11:03 AM by Armstead
It's clear how the GOP is going to "fight back" against their failures and their policies and their falling credibility.

More of the same. No acknowledgement of error, no attempt to reasonably explain their actions and positions, no recognition that at least half the country fundamentally disagrees with them, and significantly more than half don't trust them anymore. No compromise, change in course, no housecleaning and no "fresh air" of new people.

No just more stubborness, repetition of stale talking points, more fearmongering, more delibrate polarization, more misrepresentation of reality, more below-the-belt attacks on critics. Same old people doing the same old things.

Business as usual for three more years. But hopefully, the people won't get fooled again.

3. Part of their strategy is whining "But the Dems don't have an
alternate plan!" As if they listen to the Dems anyway.

4. Listening to Bush, I should have added "The same old speech"
Edited on Fri Nov-11-05 12:01 PM by Armstead
He keeps giving the same speech, with no new insights or legitimate justifications. Just "them terrists is out to git us" with no further depth of understanding of the complexities.

How many of these "Comprehensive Explanations of our strategy once and for all" has he given over the last few months anyway?
