***Please post your thoughts/opinions on the Rove Debacle tonight!***

I am stunned and angered by what appears to have been a Rovian trick on CNN by Rove, or by CNN (Wolfie Blitztkrieg )itself to promote Rove. I didn't catch all of the C-Span or CNN coverage, but it's my impression that Rove just spoke to the very conservative Federalists' Society about constitutional law. Was the import of his speech at all apparent? Did he discuss in any way the ongoing investigation? What are your opinions on this? I'd really like to know, and would appreciate your input, as this stunt has me quite angered.

quaint crime, like torture)....I thought he was going to be interviewed. As soon as I saw that he was going to make a speech, I muted.

7. Wolf Blitzer on CNN announced in the afternoon that Rove was to be

making his first appearance since the investigation on CNN, and to stay tuned. He made it sound like a portentious event, as if something of significance was going to be disussed, and that Rove would be doing an interview with Blitzer, live. Instead, Rove appeared on C-Span, speaking at a Federalist Society Dinner, where they whorishly and slavishly applauded him! The 'interview' was not real; it was all hype. Wolff just showed bits of the speech. Very disappointing. And to see judges and attorneys applauding this criminal was revolting.

5. That's another thing I just don't get. Why should Rove give a speech to

conservative attorneys and judges? Roberts was a member. I wonder if he was there tonight? The entire thing seemed so inappropriate. Did he say anything about the investigation or his current troubles? I couldn't tolerate listening to him, he is so arrogant.

6. Rove's performance was a pile of poo-poo.

He spouted outworn Orwellian doublespeak. It was just one hackneyed lie after another after another after another. C-Span will probably replay it.

And CNN did the dirty. They teased the Rove spot as if Rove would be on The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer.
