I threw a rock

My neighbor was abusing his wife and children, or so I was told.

I could have called the police, but instead I threw a rock through his window.

My other neighbors told me to mind my own business and to call the police, but I'm bigger than they are. If I want to throw a rock, it's my business.

I threw more rocks. My neighbor told me to stay the hell away from his house.

I threw bigger rocks. I started to damage my neighbors house.

My neighbor called in his relatives. They didn't like my neighbor, but they disliked my rock throwing even more.

Soon they were all throwing rocks. See how awful they are?

I'm glad I threw a rock at their place, otherwise you can bet they'd eventually have been over here throwing rocks at my house.

You can't be too careful with some of these neighbors. They're all throwing rocks now.

I'm Losing My Patience With My Neighbors, Mr. Bush

I'm really excited by George Bush's latest reason for bombing Iraq: he's running out of patience. And so am I!

For some time now I've been really pissed off with Mr Johnson, who lives a couple of doors down the street. Well, him and Mr Patel, who runs the health food shop. They both give me queer looks, and I'm sure Mr Johnson is planning something nasty for me, but so far I haven't been able to discover what. I've been round to his place a few times to see what he's up to, but he's got everything well hidden. That's how devious he is.

As for Mr Patel, don't ask me how I know, I just know--from very good sources--that he is, in reality, a Mass Murderer. I have leafleted the street telling them that if we don't act first, he'll pick us off one by one.

Some of my neighbours say, if I've got proof, why don't I go to the police? But that's simply ridiculous. The police will say that they need evidence of a crime with which to charge my neighbours.

They'll come up with endless red tape and quibbling about the rights and wrongs of a pre-emptive strike and all the while Mr Johnson will be finalising his plans to do terrible things to me, while Mr Patel will be secretly murdering people. Since I'm the only one in the street with a decent range of automatic firearms, I reckon it's up to me to keep the peace. But until recently that's been a little difficult. Now, however, George W. Bush has made it clear that all I need to do is run out of patience, and then I can wade in and do whatever I want!

But who the hell is the police?

I called the police and they wrote a very angry letter and delivered it to my neighbor.

They charged my neighbor with 17 resolutions, and a bunch of sanctions that starved his children but did not punish the evil father. This neighbor continued to beat his starving children.

They charged another neighbor with around 68 resolutions but he didn't get any sanctions because he's had rocks thrown at him his whole life and donates billions of dollars to one very powerful policeman in Washington. Nobody cares what this neighbor does.

I called the police again and said hey you better do something NOW these children are dying! The police said they can't even wipe their ass without permission from the police station in Geneva. The police station in Geneva said they actually don't have any power to do anything and in fact don't even have police officers unless people like me are willing to join the force and wear blue helmets.

Well, I ain't wearin no blue helmet, so I threw the damn rocks myself and ended up in the exact predicament you stated. They threw rocks back at me, and it's been going back and forth for three years. My eyes are bloody.

Meanwhile my pathetic family doesn't give a shit because they've just been watching Faux News the whole time and only care about their own lives. If they really wanted me to stop throwing rocks, they would let me know and then I might stop. This ordeal has made my house very poor, yet only a few members care. I dismiss these fools as "whiny liberal elitists" and it continues.
