Retired judges? Nothing like implementing an oligarchy to safeguard "democracy", eh?

Most Californians will admit that the gerrymandering in this state is terrible, but sometimes the cure can be worse than the disease. Elected judges, or even a new nonpartisan elected seat or board, would have been preferable to the proposed solution.

we just distrust Schwarzenegger and see the "plan" he proposed as inferior -- kind of like the Governator.

6. I'd okay "fair" redistricting when TEXAS does, too. One national system-

for EVERYONE, not just the largest Democratic-controlled state in the union.

It will be easier for Democrats to win seats there in the future. Texas will turn blue sooner than you think. Then the Republicans will be seriously fucked.
