Request that PBS' show "NOW" do a segment on GAO e-voting report.

Since it appears the media is not going to do much to inform the public about the findings of the bi-partisan report, why not take a few minutes and ask "NOW" if they would do a segment?

Here is the simple note I sent off:

"I would love to see a segment on the GAO's report on e-voting.

There has been so little coverage of its findings in the media and I think NOW could do a fine job of bringing some of the concerns it raises about future elections to our attention.

Thank you."

If anyone has other ideas on who to write, please post them here. I don't know what Keith Olbermann has been doing on the matter, but I haven't seen anything about the report on his blog. If anyone knows if he has been covering this, please let us know here. Thanks.

Perhaps it's time for John Conyers or Henry Waxman to make an appearance on "The Daily Show" and give a little outline of the GAO findings. Howard Dean, who has said he will be speaking more on the report, would also be nice to see on the show.

I can't find an e-mail addy for The Daily Show, so if anyone knows how to contact them, again, it would be most appreciated.
