Damned Nascar!!! Making West Wing late!

Ran over and is making everything late on NBC. I don't know why they do that. Who cares about Nascar!!! West Wing is live tonight. And now I won't see it live. It will be taped. And as everyone knows, taped ain't live. GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!

And to top it all off, Desperate Housewives will be starting on time and West Wing will be over late, and we are already TiVoing everything on CBS because of that stupid disaster movie. My DH and I are fighting over whether I get to watch West Wing or he gets to see Desperate Housewives. I'm going to win, don't worry, but blood may be shed.

2. Not only that but...

Our local AAR station has been carrying Neckcar,er, NASCAR the last couple of weeks because the sports station is doing our local hockey team's games. Oh well, Nascar is almost done, I think. But I do have one question, and don't hate me because of it, but what the hell is a man doing watching "Desperate Housewives"? I guess we all have our guilty pleasures.

Back when we were first married and I was a stay at home wife, we watched All My Children together because he came home for lunch. His business was next to the house. Then after i went to work, I found out he was sticking around for General Hospital. In the 1980s, we watched Dallas, Dynasty and Knots Landing together. We are really into the HBO mini series (except he never liked Six Feet Under until the very end-- it finally got him -- he was turned off by the gay characters -- lol, he is such a homophobe -- but I think he is improving -- let us pray--)
Now he likes DHousewives and I watch it sometimes...

I don't know about any of you but, have you ever been to a Nascar race? I have never seen so many dunks in my life in one place. And believe me I been to some crazy concerts in my life. I do have to say Nascar tops it for the most drunks.:crazy:

That kid Edwards is fun to watch - especially when he does his flip off the car after a victory. They call him Flipper.

The DU Anti-NASCAR Sanctimony Brigade has inadvertantly piqued by curiousity about the motorsport, and I've actually found myself watching and enjoying parts of some races in the last month. Good stuff, and certainly no less intellectually engaging than cheesey TV drama.
