Governors Polls: Red State Democrats are most popular
I was doing some recreational political science and discovered that Red state Democratic governors are the most popular, with an average approval rating of 58.5%. Blue state Democratic governors have an average rating of only 45.8%. The same trend holds for Republican governors, but not by as much. Blue state Republican governors have an average rating of 53.2%, while red state Republican governors have a rating that averages 51.6%.

I used the survey USA 50 state governors polls conducted at the end of October.

1. More honesty, effectiveness and integrity
Something that Republicans don't have.

4. Definition of 'red State'?
When you use 'red State' - do you mean how the State voted in the 2004 Presedential elections, or are you going by the party that controls the State's Legislature? Thank you.

8. Hey, if you're crunching numbers, could you weight
these by population or electoral votes?

6. It's definitetly noteworthy that the 5 worst are Repubs.
The two at the bottom are Schwartz and Taft (Ohio). Neither are hard-righters, so they are likely in trouble with the Red state base.
