He will be on via satellite. He sure does seem to be looking to
reappear in the Democratic Party. I agree with previous poster,
stay home. Where were you when we needed you?

5. But but - reports were that Reid
got the idea from Daschle in the first place - sorry no link. Must have been from Kos, amerblog, TRM, Eschaton or Raw Story - the blogs I check most days.

8. Reid is a rising star
Dash didn't really do much during the massive build up to war on BS intelligence. Not really worth the beneift of the doubt. I mean, look at this board. You'd think everyone here was Nostra-F'n-damus, since most Dems in the Senate has "no idea", while everyone here knew exactly what was going to happen.

10. This is a good thing
I've skimmed some of the other posts to the effect that we don't want Daschle back, but consider, if he comes back he doesn't automatically resume his post as Minority Leader, he's just another Democrat (and a chastened one at that)who would most likely follow the pack. It would also be a stinging rebuke to Thune and Frist, who went out of his way to campaign for Thune in SD last year. Finally, it would give the Dems another seat.
